If you're a foodie, Boise’s got the goods! Nearby joints like Sushi Joy are perfect for a fresh sushi fix, and Big City Coffee serves coffee that’ll kick your morning into high gear. Plus, the cleaning staff kept our room tidy and comfy for our four days there, which is a definite win!
Red Lion's supposed no-smoking policy fell flat when we stepped into a room that reeked of stale smoke. I felt like I was in a time warp of bad habits. Rather than fresh mountain air, our bags got a whiff of 'comeback of the century'! The front desk played denial instead of helping, which was a real bummer.

The Red Lion Hotel presented a mixed bag for my stay. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth, making check-in a breeze. I stayed in a Premium King Room, and it was spacious and tidy. The location couldn’t be beat. it’s right near downtown, allowing for easy exploration. However, the air conditioning was a disappointment. It barely worked, leaving my room uncomfortably warm. I also had trouble with the bathroom fan—it just didn't function at all. The breakfast options were subpar, with limited choices available. I noticed some maintenance issues like dated carpeting and old amenities, which detracted from the experience. I appreciated the complimentary coffee in the morning, but the dining area could use more seating. Overall, my stay had potential, but those inconveniences made it less enjoyable than I hoped.
